Habit Stack To Save Time While Reaching Your Goals

Hi!

I’m Master Trainer Charlie, and I’m thrilled you’re here!

If you’re new, welcome! You’ve found the perfect spot to kick off your journey to a healthier lifestyle designed just for busy women like you.

Maybe you glanced at the title and wondered, “Is that really possible for me?”

As a fellow busy woman, I completely understand. Our to-do lists never seem to end, and carving out time for ourselves often feels like a distant dream.

There’s always laundry piling up, shuttling kids to school and activities, preparing meals for the whole family, and somehow still trying to squeeze in time for your own dreams.

You pour so much into everyone else that even considering your own needs can bring on a wave of guilt.

But here’s the truth: your health matters just as much as everything on your list. In fact, sometimes it’s even more important than the tasks waiting for you.

Pause for a second and let that sink in.

Remember, you can’t help others if you’re running on empty.

So let’s dig in: how can you stay active—or even ramp up your activity—when finishing a hot cup of coffee feels like a luxury?

How can you squeeze in more movement without stretching your packed schedule? How can you accomplish more with less time?

That’s where habit stacking comes in. It’s a clever way to get more done without needing a single extra minute.

If habit stacking is new to you, it simply means layering a new habit onto something you already do. For instance, if your day starts with coffee, you can tack on a healthy habit right alongside it. Because you’re already in the routine, adding something extra feels natural and helps it stick.

Habit stacking is like laying the foundation for a sturdy house. Before anything else, you need that solid base. For me, coffee is my foundation—I can’t even think about talking to anyone before that first sip wakes me up.

Let’s go back to coffee: while you’re reheating your cup for the third time, march in place until it’s ready. Do this every time, and you’ll rack up way more steps than if you just stood there. Those steps add up fast.

Or, if you’re on a conference call with your camera off, sneak in some squats or push-ups while you listen. You’re already there, so why not turn sitting time into moving time?

If you love listening to a podcast on the patio in the morning, try taking a brisk walk while you listen. You still get your podcast fix, but now you’re moving too—no extra time required.

Have kids? While you’re at the park, squeeze in a few pull-ups or challenge them to a race if they’re older. They’ll have a blast, and you’ll sneak in some exercise too.

You probably get the idea by now.

By weaving habit stacking into your routine, you’ll move more, feel healthier, and care for yourself—all without needing extra time. That’s the magic of building healthy habits onto what you already do. It’s multitasking at its best, and the possibilities are endless. For The Busy Woman, it’s about making every minute count by adding something positive to your day. We have things to do, so let’s make every moment matter!

Another bonus of habit stacking is that it helps you take control of your day, cutting through the extra noise—what my friend and I like to call the beautiful chaos of busy woman life.

As a busy woman, habit stacking can also help you get organized. It lets you plan your time smarter and add the healthy habits you crave, without searching for an extra 10 or 15 minutes you simply don’t have.

Because, as a busy woman, you have things to do!
